Maybe my favorite painting ever: “The Wolf-Horse,” by my cousin Gray, when she was 8 and I was 11. We were mad for horses and painted them all the time. Cruelly i told her this one looked like a wolf, and she never forgave me. Had it waiting for me in my room when I came to stay with her this weekend. @elizathornbury @graystoughton #horsepaintings
