Banquettes are a longtime favorite, particularly for breakfast nooks or informal eating areas off or near the kitchen. I may have moved the mountain a little. Started this en plein air one afternoon last summer and stared at it in my studio months later. A stroke or 20 this afternoon and call it a day. The mountain is rather right in the middle though, now i look at it. I may need to move it again??
