Knock-Knock

Just in case you have a lull in a conversation with a 5-year-old who has not heard it:

Knock-Knock

Who’s there?

Eater.

Eater who?

Eater Bunny.

Scared of the Easter Bunny.
Not every child is enamored of the Easter Bunny. One of my nieces, who shall remain nameless, was terrified of him. I'm not even sure she likes him now, and she's in college. My sister, on the other hand, was crazy about him and believed in him long after she abandoned Santa Claus. Let's just say candy had something to do with it. Photo from the Chicago Tribune website, which has an extensive collection of "Scared of the Easter Bunny" mementos.

Knock-knock.

Who’s there?

Cargo.

Cargo who?

Car go VARRROOOOOOOM! Run over Eater Bunny.

Knock-knock.

Who’s there?

Boo.

Boo who?

Don’t cry, Eater Bunny come again next year.

Happy Easter. Oh, and here’s the link to the Chicago Tribune’s photo gallery “Scared of the Easter Bunny.”

  1. What a hoot! Have a wonderful weekend, Frances. And hope the ‘Eater Bunny’ leaves some tasty morsels for you to munch on tomorrow.
