What a treat to visit this Lowcountry home of a family friend outside Beaufort, SC. The house was about to be torn down in Charleston and instead was dismantled brick by brick and moved here in 1971. The brick was made in the early 19th century at #medwayplantation , a storied property outside Charleston.
