Seriously simple and a French culinary classic that sort of but never completely caught on here. As you begin to plan for holiday entertaining, albeit on the limited basis it must be, you can’t lose with gougères–a perfect balance of crispy-gooey-crunchy-soft. The ideal hors d’oeuvres with a glass of champagne, a kir, or a splash of your favorite wine or spirit. Alcohol not required, btw Recipe in my Stories.
