Street fair day in Khajuraho happens about every 15 days. A low-key and colorful small town without traffic or pollution, Khajuraho is difficult to get to and perhaps the better for it. The Maharaja’s Palace in Gwalior boasts the two heaviest chandeliers in the world, weighing about 8 tons each (I think).
