Hard to beat purple and green, but then green goes with anything. Irises from the farmers market and a few sprigs of honeysuckle for the table. Old friends for dinner tonight, just the four of us. I love the intimacy of it and the increased likelihood (though with this lot not guarantee) of having one conversation between us – and tonight’s was fascinating. .
